Radio Station Internships

EARS, the El Paso Association of Radio Stations, is accepting applications for paid internships programs for Summer ’09 and Fall ’09. Applicants need to be full time students at an accredited college, trade school, or high school in which they receive school credit(s) for their work. Students will receive minimum wage for 15 to 20 hours of work per week.

Students selected to participate in the EARS Internship program will receive hands on experience in the radio broadcasting industry while receiving high school or college credit. The summer program lasts six weeks while the full session will be twenty weeks.

Positions which might be filled include: sales/copywriter/promotions/engineering/
on air announcer/production/internet programming/graphics/secretary/front desk/etc.

Students will be selected by the participating EARS cluster: Clear Channel Radio, Univision, Entravision, Regent Broadcasting, and McClatchey Broadcasting.
