Scholarships
For 2008 The El
Paso Association of Radio
Stations provides cash
scholarships for college bound
students specializing in the
fields of radio, television,
communications or related
fields.
A number of
scholarships are available for
students enrolled in:

University of
Texas at El Paso
-
New Mexico
State University
-
El Paso
Community College
-
Dona Ana
Community College
Five EARS Radio
Scholarships will be awarded,
good for $500.00 each, to
students attending UTEP, NMSU,
El Paso Community College, or
Dona Ana Community College, who
respond to the following essay
question:
In the next four
years, define the future of
Radio. Consider the following
items in your response: local
radio, the internet, satellite,
HD radio, cell phones, iPods,
etc.
Keep essays under
600 words. Deadline to enter:
March 1, 2008.
Scholarship
winners will be announced on
April 1, 2008.
